Whenever I turn on IOMMU with the kernel flag "intel_iommu=on", the system crashes on boot by continually printing the following error.
Error:
DMAR: pRMA Read[ Request device [00:1e.0] fault addr0
DMAR:[fault reason 06] PTE Read access is not set
The device being referenced (00:1e.0) is an Intel Corporation 82801 PCI Bridge
This error has been reproduced on the backup server with the same hardware and also using a different OS.
Equipment: X9DAL-i Motherboard with two Intel Xeon E5 2420 CPUs
