giulix63

Thanks for reporting back. Good to know that it worked as intended. Also useful to know that this one for EL7.1 did not work for 7.0.

I tried this solution for my P400 256MB.

Works as it should!

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Works perfectly. RHEL 7.1 on ProLiant DL360 G5 with a P400.

Thank you, guyz, the iso worked great on HP Proliant DL380 G4 with Smart Array 6i controller.
I used this file
http://elrepo.org/people/akemi/testing/ ... x86_64.iso
Wrote it with dd for windows to the USB Flash drive and after CentOS 7 boot flash menu appeared pressed ESC and entered
linux dd
After that I inserted USB flash with driver and selected it in the list.
Installer then was able to see the array.

Hi! Any chances to host this magic iso on a same USB drive with the CentOS installation?

And now I just want to thank elrepo guys and all who contributed to this topic as today I successfully setup two old servers for test purposes.
No need to use two USB sticks, DVDs and so on when iLO access is possible. I mounted first a CentOS installation iso as a virtual media disk, started linux dd, then connected elrepo's iso instead, loaded the driver, reconnected the install iso back and continued my installation. Really works like a charm!
Controllers in use in my case: HP Smart Array 6i, P400, P600.

Any chance of a 7.2 magic iso? Lol

Actually I can't get 7.0 or 7.1 to work on my 350 with the E200i controller.

When the installer loads there's a giant you must fix this error before continuing box

What I did myself is adding to the boot parameter hpsa.hpsa_allow_any=1 hpsa.hpsa_simple_mode=1 to the grub config it is not recommended but if you need it to work that's a way to do it
