Greetings,
I have installed CentOS 7.1 on an Intel NUC5i5RYH, connected through an ATen KVM vga connection to an LG Flatron L222WT display.
The KVM is working fine with other machines and displays.
All OK except the display looks like the following pic - faint vertical lines that are minimally intrusive, but I think incorrect.
Looking at Settings | Displays, it has detected - Goldstar Company Ltd. 22"
Is this likely to be a problem with the display being incorrectly detected, and if so how do I change it ?

Re: Display incorrectly detected
Interesting ... The screenshot (png) displays correctly on other computers, but with the lines on the problem computer.
Re: Display incorrectly detected
LG used to be "Lucky Goldstar" so the Goldstar part of that makes sense.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.

Re: Display incorrectly detected
Ok, thanks.
Only thing I can think of trying now is a manual xorg.conf for an LG L222WT ...
Anyone have one ?
Hopefully, Alan
