Intel HD Graphics 620 support

Hi!

I am going to buy laptop equipped with Intel HD Graphics 620. I made research and met information on issues ie. connecting additional display with Intel graphics, but I din't find any information on this particular model. I am wondering if I should expect ANY issues with it.

Any thoughts or experience?

It appears, that there are actually no serious issues with this graphic card. Almost everything works out of the box.
The only problem I met during Centos installation. I were unable to adjust display brightness.
After installation, I added following line at the end of /etc/default/grub file.

Code: Select all

acpi_osi=

Then I updated grub with

Code: Select all

update-grub

Everything works great now.
