Wireless adapter not working CentOS7 [ TP-LINK TL-WN721N]

i am also facing the same problem -

I am able to see wifi in gui but when i try to activate it nothing happens.
I tried with nmtui also - in nmtui drivers name is missing.

and same usb adapter is working fine in my desktop .
tp-link - TL-WN721N

This topic was split away from viewtopic.php?f=47&t=47498 as that is too old and refers to a different wireless adapter.

I see ELRepo have a kmod-8188eu package in their elrepo-testing repo. That might be worth trying. Also, check that that NetworkManager-wifi is installed.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
