I am able to see wifi in gui but when i try to activate it nothing happens.
I tried with nmtui also - in nmtui drivers name is missing.
and same usb adapter is working fine in my desktop .

I see ELRepo have a kmod-8188eu package in their elrepo-testing repo. That might be worth trying. Also, check that that NetworkManager-wifi is installed.

The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
