centos 7 working slowly after installing guest additions cd image

Hello Community,

I have issue with Centos7. After successfully installing Centos7 in Oracle VM Virtual box. I have updated guest additions by using commands "yum install kernel-devel" and "yum install gcc*". After installing guest additions my Centos7 is running very slowly that i cant open anything. If anyone faced the same issue and got resolved please help me how to make it run faster.
