HDMI Out of range
HDMI Out of range
My monitor writes HDMI Out of Range while booting. I have tried "nomodeset". Is my GPU causing this issue? please help.

Re: HDMI Out of range
hey mate. been struggling with the same issue.
My graphics card has 3x hdmi, 3x display port and 1x dvi. Most forums suggest vga which I do not have.
Anyway, what worked for me is to use dvi to boot and install then change output to hdmi later.
update:
In my attempts centos won't output from fresh install to either hdmi or display port. However, it will detect display port as second monitor after connecting primary monitor via dvi-d. I had no luck with hdmi as primary or secondary monitor.
Hopefully someone with a deeper understanding of the CLI can help with hdmi. I bought a dvi cable, it has worked well.
