How do I prevent the screen saver from going black?

Post by 0ceansou1 » 2017/07/10 10:04:13

Question as above, I am not a native English speaker so I failed in searching the answer in google.

My PC with CentOS 7.2 installed were always go black screen when screen saver is actived.

From power manager setting I can stop the system goes blank But I WANT MY SCREEN SAVER SHOW UP.

Every time I wait untile the screen saver is active but it only last for about 15 seconds then my display goes black.

I Don't want my screen goes black but I still need my screen saver.

Couldn't do any thing about it from the system setting options.

Is this what it designed or it's just me beging unlucky?

Hope I expressed my question properly.

sincerly thanks!

I've tried it. Unfortunately it won't fix my problem, thanks anyway.

All I can do is to make my system always awake, but screen saver will never show up.

Or let the system goes blank, the display black out until I move the mouse, then the screen saver is there but only last for 15 seconds and the display black out again.

I just want to keep my screen saver alive why is it so diffcult in CentOS7? If I were using windows OS this will be taking only a minute to configure.
