Hi guys,
after I upgraded CentOS from 7.3 to 7.4 and rebooted I first got this message:
"Nvidia already registered, abort..."
and then this screen:
https://ibb.co/eJgCDk
My mainboard is an Asrock N68C-GS FX so I need the kmod drivers from Elrepo and when I start the old kernel I see, that the new drivers
kmod-forcedeth-0.64-3 and
kmod-nvidia-304xx-304.135-3
for kernel 3.10.0-693.2.2 have been installed.
Nevertheless I assume that the problem is somehow caused by the Nvidia module or driver but I got no idea how to solve it. Does anyone have an idea?
Unfortunately I can't get logs of the new kernel but I can access the old one and the recovery, if you need any more logs or information.

Re: Kernel Panic after updating from 7.3 to 7.4/ Nvidia already registered
Fixed it, or actually pperry from Elrepo did.
They patched their kmod-nvidia-304xx.
The new one is kmod-nvidia-304xx-304.135-4.el7_4.elrepo.x86_64.rpm.
You can find it in the elrepo-testing repository or here:
http://elrepo.org/linux/testing/el7/x86_64/RPMS/
For me it was sufficient to just install the kmod-nvidia.rpm without the nvidia-x11 source.
