Hi
I am a linux novice and have (I hope) 'a doable' idea/plan.
I am video editor and would like to use Blackmagic's DaVinci Resolve on linux. They made a linux version (many years ago) and it is realy great, a 'Holywood grade' SW. They recommend using RedHat or CentOS distro.
I have installed CentOS (hopefully correct...) with MATE desktop (hopefully correct too...?) but can't make Nvidia drivers to work (GeForce 750N). Installation fails, etc.
DaVinci Resolve is a serious SW and for sure it works. Question is more if it does on my PC (ASUS laptop N750JV).
Does anyone have any experience or knows how to do it?
I was googling ... no solution.
Yes ... someone has installed DaVinci on Ubuntu ... maybe NVidia drivers works for that... but maybe there are just some tricks and a proper linux guy knows how to do it...
Help!
Thank you.
