[SOLVED] Disabling IRQ #19 - MosChip Semiconductor Technology Ltd. 4-Port PCIe Serial Adapter

Post by ludwigpfahl » 2017/10/18 12:46:33

Hallo,

i have a Problem with Interups and MosChip Semiconductor Technology Ltd. 4-Port PCIe Serial Adapter.

I have a Barcode Scanner on the additional tty ports. 5 Minutes it works well. But then the kernel deactivates the serial port.
Has anybody a idea? The irqpoll is enabled.

I have now add in the grub.conf "pcie_aspm.policy=performance" that helps

Another way to change the policy is:
echo performance > /sys/module/pcie_aspm/parameters/policy

the other way is to disable ASPM support disabled in the BIOS.
