Centos 7 on Dell Vostro 15 - 5000 - audio problem

Hello!

I installed centos 7 from scratch on this machine with gnome3 as desktop. In the audio setting menu via gui i only see "Dummy Output". Same thing with pavucontrol.

I installed kernel 4.15 from elrepo but the situation was identical with the original kernel.

It was a problem with my BIOS. Even though audio is enabled, i had to disable and reenable audio many times before it actually worked. Also installed latest firmware from Dell site (released feb-2018).
