CentOS

I have tried, many ways of installing the driver for my laptop's graphic card 940M, but failed every time
tried with nvidia-detect & also with bumblebee but not successful yet...

I have tried with version 3.10.xx Kernel also no result..
using this instructions...

Now using:
# uname -r
4.16.8-1.el7.elrepo.x86_64
# lspci | grep -i --color 'vga\|3d\|2d'
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 4th Gen Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 06)
01:00.0 3D controller: NVIDIA Corporation GM108M [GeForce 940M] (rev a2)

Please, help on installing the latest supported driver for my laptop's graphic card.. as I am learning to
script or programming for Autodesk Maya 2018..the installation of the graphic card is essential...
Step by Step instruction will be very much helpful ...
