I've now encountered 2 machines with this problem since upgrading to 7.5 and booting the latest kernel. I can confirm the problem goes away by booting the last 7.4 kernel 3.10.0-693.21.1.el7.x86_64. Basically, during boot up, the kernel messages do not show after grub (this is without "rhgb" and "quiet" option) and the screen goes blank and I never see the login screen, though I can eventually login over ssh. Might be something to do with vga driver in latest kernel? I'm not sure... anyone else seen this?
I've now seen it on these 2 machines:
Supermicro SYS-5018A-FTN4 (has Aspeed AST2400 VGA)
Jetway JBC200F9N-E4IN-B (has Celeron N2930 Intel HD Graphics)
Reported based on this review on amazon, might also be happening with Supermicro SYS-E200-9B (Intel HD Graphics via SoC):

Have you tried nomodeset?
That is usually my first test when there is no console output
