[Lenovo IdeaPad 320-15ISK] Touchpad half working

Post by koshieDotFr » 2018/07/17 18:34:10

Hi,

I just installed CentOS 7 on a Lenovo IdeaPad 320-15ISK and everything works fine excepted the touchpad, which I cas use as a mouse but without scrolling, which is a bit annoying.

After some research on internet and finally asking on #centos@irc.freenode.net I didn't find a fix for this issue.

Also, I'm using KDE and in "Touchpads" section everything is disabled, like on this screenshot (don't mind certificate, it's self-signed): https://nextcloud.koshie.fr/index.php/s/HPdvnmdjVe6PE5z

So as far as I understand, Linux manage my touchpad but not fully. I don't know what information would be relevant to help me out of this problem, but at least lspci:
[kgaspard@pita ~]$ lspci

If you need to know more about my hardware and configuration, please ask.

Thanks for your help.

It could be an USB device - what's the output of lsusb?

Hi,

I don't understand, a touchpad can be connected as an USB device ? In this case:
[Laptop - pita] [kgaspard] ~ $ lsusb
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 174f:116a Syntek
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 8087:0a2a Intel Corp.
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Hope that helps, thanks for your answer.

Regards,
koshie
