FCoE issue

Post by alex1010 » 2018/11/08 13:10:44

Hi,

will start a new topic as I tried to ask in "No SAN connection with the latest kernel" spawned by silvio but didn't get any answers and that thread is old

So I am trying to connect FCoE storage , 100G newly created lun

Topology HP blade with Emulex CNA --- HP blade switch --- Juniper QFX (FCoE GW) --- Brocade ------ NetApp

In CNA bios I am able to detect the lun so FC path should be ok, on storage there is a login
FCP login on Fibre Channel adapter '1a' from '10:00:00:9c:02:3d:bb:f9', address 0x10302

I have updated firmware to the recent one, drivers, kernel 3.10.0-862.14.4.el7.x86_64

Hi Alex,

can you send the lspci -nn infos for the adapter?
I have problems with my be2 FC adapter and if you look in the release notes for RHEL 7.5 you will find a lot of deprecated adapters.
The be3 is not in the list but i do not know which "real" adapter is in your system.

Silvio
