LSI Drivers?

Post by BamBamm » 2018/11/09 00:10:41

Hi all,
I am new to CentOS and Linux altogether. I just bought a Supermicro 1U Server X8DTU-F for a video camera setup.
The server only boots to RAID, but when I go to install the OS, it says no drives found. I have two working SEAGATE 2Tb drives installed at the moment.
How do I get CentOS to find my RAID Drives?

Thanks for any help!

The usual answer is to go into the BIOS and select the controller and change from RAID to AHCI mode.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.

Sorry,
It was my control card. It wasn't reading the drives.
The X8DTU-F (Supermicro) motherboard is NOT compatible with SAS drives, only SATA drives.
