New Install CentOS Doesn't see my Intel SSD

Post by bryan.ray » 2018/12/15 23:18:01

Hello group. I have an Asus gaming laptop that has 2 hard drives. One is a 1TB drive and the other is an Intel SSD I added after I purchased the laptop a few years ago. When I installed CentOS from a USB, It did not see my SSD. This is where I want the OS installed.

Currently the SSD has Windows 10 installed on it and I can still boot to this drive by changing the boot order in my BIOS.
I'd like to format this drive and install CentOS 7.

Any suggestions on how I can get CentOS to see this SSD?

SSD Specs: Intel SSD 530 Series 240GB
Model: SSDSC2BW240A4
2.5" 6Gb/s SATA SSD 240G 5V 1.0A

Per the forum instructions, I've ran downloaded and ran the getinfo.sh script and the output is located here: https://pastebin.com/UhBZvx4A

To narrow down to only disk related info, see here: https://pastebin.com/crQ7PyP3

Many Thanks for any suggestions you have.
Bryan
