Hi,
I'm using CentOS 7.6.
I have Cannon LIDE 120 scanner, but it isn't shown in "Simple Scan" application.
lsusb shows it as:
04a9:190e Canon, Inc. CanoScan LiDE 120
scanner Cannon Lide 120 not working...

I have the 220. We are both insignificant scum that Cannon couldn't care a fig about. In a year of two you may be able to use the scanner as a scanner once sane(1) has been updated, but until then you have a not very pretty doorstop.

As I had read, Canon Lide 120 is supported in xsane under name genesys.
But how do I install and configure xsane for genesys on CentOS 7.6, and where to find the packages for CentOS 7.6?

My curiosity got the best of me so I went looking, only to discover pretty much what you have. However, one Canon site stated the drivers may be already installed. I don't know but do you have installed sane-backends, sane-backends-drivers-scanners, and sane-backends-libs ?
I don't have a Canon scanner so I wouldn't know if those 3 packages would help. Sorry.

Yes, they are installed. How do I configure 'sane-genesys' backend?
