Hi,

I'm using CentOS 7.6 Gnome Desktop.

How do I load additional firmwares in the kernel at boot?

And do I need to update grub.cfg after that?

Well, I'm using Athlon II X2 processor (Family 10), Radeon HD 5570 graphics (REDWOOD-PRO), I have USBTV007 Video grabber usb card (which uses Easycap modules and has additional firmware for it) and also I have a Astrometa USB TV 'cx231xx based chipset' card (which uses modules from linuxtv.org and has additional firmware for it).

As I see CentOS 7.6 probably loads the Redwood firmwares, not sure about amd_microcode and probably wouldn't for Easycap and Astrometa too.

Just want to make CentOS 7.6 work properly.

Also I would need to compile and install some modules additionally as Etron usb 3.0, AMD Ehxi-Ohci-Xhci usb ports don't work, Analog PCI TV card Cinergy 250 (7134) doesn't work, not sure if DragonRise TwinShock gamed would work, also UVC webcam modules (Logitech C120) don't work, I don't know how to configure sane with sane-genesys backend (Canon Lide 120 scanner); (USBTV007,cx231xxx), also I have Xonar U3 usb sound card (usbsnd), usb 2.0 Bluray-RW drive (storage).
