Hello,
I have to configure a samba server/"Webmin" environment under Centos 7. So far webmin is reachable by IP:Port combination.
(I changed the domain name with set-hostname and added "webmin" and "domain" as services to the firewall. This is also diplayed by "firewall-cmd ... --list-all". - "Domain" because I hoped to make webmin reachable by the domain name this way.)
Do you have any advice what I did'nt mind?
EDIT:
How it seems I can't call the server from any client by domain-name even with an inactive firewall. But from the the server itsself the domain name works.
