LAN CARD is not working (changing LAN PORT )

Hi

I have a new normal PC using for web server. I have Intel pro/1000 DUEL PORT LAN Card but its not working for a week
so I need to Chang the port using onbord LAN port What i do for it:::: plz help

its onbord LAN file name is ifcfg-enp2s0
and LAN card port file name are ifcfg-enp3s6f0 or ifcfg-enp3s6f1

what i do for it plz help me home server is doen

I'm not intending to be patronising so please forgive me if I'm telling you things that are blindingly obvious.

You say that the Intel adapter has not been working for a week so I presume that it did work for a while.

In that case the config files (ifcfg-enp3s6f0 or ifcfg-enp3s6f1) will contain the correct IP settings for the onboard adapter.

To avoid any chance of conflicts I would comment these out in the original file (# at the start of the line) and then transpose them into the onboard config file (ifcfg-enp2s0). (You can comment out the existing lines if you want to keep them for reference). The main ones you will need will be the 'ONBOOT-yes', 'DEFROUTE=yes' and 'BOOTPROTO=' which will have a value depending on whether tou are using DHCP or static addresses. If you are using static addresses then include the IPADDR, PREFIX, GATEWAY and DNS1 values.
