Hi All,
I have launched a centos 7 vm on openstack cloud. Its internal Ip is pingable and reachable for ssh. But when I tried pinging the vm using its
external or floating IP, it worked for sometime and it stopped pinging after sometime. I did a tcpdump from inside the vm on one of its networking interfaces, and I saw that the ping request packets are indeed reaching the vm but the vm is not responding to these ping requests. This is happening only when pinging the vm from its external natted IP. The kernel version of this vm is
"Linux client-demo.novalocal 3.10.0-327.28.3.el7.x86_64 #1 SMP Thu Aug 18 19:05:49 UTC 2016 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux" .
Please help me with this issue .
Thanks
