I have just installed CentOS 7 and trying to set up postfix email. I have configured the main.cf for smtp only operation using the information from the postfix site. When I try to sendmail from the command line, everything seems to work but the mail never arrives. I checked the blacklist and sure enough my router address is one of the lists due to the fact that it is a dynamic lease. I need to have the ability to send email from this server because it will be a local server hosting my web site which will provide a form to ask questions.
Here's my configuration. CentOS7 (as I said). My network is behind an Untangle router using dynamic address from COX.
I am thinking I need to set up an smtp relay. I have tried to set up a godaddy relay (my email uses godaddy) but get a 530 error when I try to send email. I tried to use my gmail account but received a StartTLS error.
So any suggestions on how to get send only email running would be very much appreciated.
