I'm currently running Centos 7 on my computer, with a total of 3 VM's (1 Centos 7, Windows 10, and Fedora 27).
Every once in a while, I lost the network connection on the host computer, which then causes the two Linux VM's to also lose their connection. Meaning, if I go on these machines, I cannot access the internet, or any other computer on my network. The Windows computer doesn't seem to lose connection at all.
I have all of my VM's set to not follow the host connection (whether the link is up or down), which may explain why only the Linux-based links are going down.
I can restore the connections if I first go to a terminal session on the host, and type "ifconfig (adapter) down", and then "ifconfig (adapter) up".
On the two Linux VM's, I can use the icons in the top right to turn off the connection, and then turn it back on again.
Any idea why this is happening, or how to permanently fix it?
