Hello,
This is my first post in this forum I think CentOS is one of the best Linux OS and I try always to use it massively in our deployments.
Well, I have now a problem: we are migrating our network from Cisco to F5 gateways, and when I configure my machines with a F5 virtual IP (self-ip) I lose access to this machines, and if I use the IP of the active F5 node the machine works.
Does any of you has had this problem with F5 equipment ? I had no problem with CIsco gateways. My machines are CentOS 7.4.1708.
Regards,
Silvio

Re: No access when configuring F5 virtual IP as gateway
I can guess what a "Cisco gateway" is and assume "F5 gateway" to be something similar.
I have no idea what the "F5 virtual IP" and "active F5 node" are.
I hope the "configure machines" means DHCP.
Overall, it does sound that you have an issue with "F5 and network" rather than with CentOS.
If the F5 is a commercial product, then it has some documentation/support?

Hello,
jlehtone, thank you very much for your answer. We found where the issue was: IP conflict between old and new gateway interfaces, and yes, since this was fixed, CentOS works like a charm
Thanks to all
