Asus USB-N13 not working properly.

Post by Taavettii » 2018/04/08 16:53:55

Hello,
I have tried almost everything, but nothing has worked for me.
The problem is that my machine is connected to my wifi network when it's not used. When i try to connect to it using SSH or CWP7.admin, it disconnects at a random interval. Only way to get the wifi connection back working is simply unplugging and plugging the adapter back. I'd use ethernet but it currently isn't possible.
Thanks in advance.

The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
Info for USB installs on http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/InstallFromUSBkey
CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.

The CWP7.admin was an example. It still crashes when i connect using FTP or SSH (or even to the website it's running).
Anyway, I managed to make the connection more stable by removing the file rtl8192cufw_TMSC.bin.
I don't even know if it really is a crash.
