TP Link TL-WN722N v3 in CentOS 7

Postby DaveKJ » 2018/04/16 08:55:35

Hello, I bought TP Link TL-WN722N v3 for my CentOS system.
Even after I ran the command "sudo yum install NetworkManager-wifi.x86_64" and then rebooted it, it still doesn't work.
Any other driver I should try? The driver from TP link website can't be compiled using "sudo make" with error 2.
FYI, the "lsusb" id is : 2357:010c

Thank you in advance!

Try installing kmod-8188eu from ELRepo. Running yum provides '*2357*010*' says that that package supplies a driver that should support that chipset.

Unfortunately, installing this one doesn't work. Still not recognized.

Does it install OK? If you modprobe it, do you get any errors (or any output) reported in the `dmesg` command? Do you have a new interface listed in the output from ip l sh ?
