Problem with two network interfeses

Post by BusterPL » 2018/07/17 08:42:02

Hi Guys,
I have a problem with my server. I try to description about it. Server with CentOS 7.5.1804. This server has 2 network interfaces. One of them is connected to private network (172.16.0.0/16) without gateway. The second is connected to the Internet with gateway. Everything was fine, till yesterday. Something went wrong, but i don't know what. First was, end of system disk space. The second, restart server. And now, if both interfaces are connected, i don't have access to the server public interface from private network (172.16.0.0). Is anybody have any idea what's going on? What's happend???

Do you have GATEWAY= in both /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-* files? If so, remove it from the interface file for the 172.16 network.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
