CentOS 7.5 send dhcp-client-identifier doesn't work

Hello community,

I use a CentOS 7.5 and I have a problem with dhcp-client-identifier.

When I set the following command under /usr/lib/dracut/modules.d/40network/dhclient.conf and under /etc/dhcp/dhclient.conf:

send dhcp-client-identifier = hardware;

the linux client doesn't send the identifier to my windows server 2016 (DHCP-Server).
The column "name" in the dhcp-server is empty.

Has anyone a solution for this problem?
