Some members in my group are removing su from their server configurations.
They indicate there is a bug having su available on a public system.
My experience has always been to keep su and limit who can use it and limit sudo users.
I would value any opinions on this mater with direct reference to Centos.
Thanks,
cwc

Re: sudo -i and su
I'd tend to suspect the real problem is the root password and WHO has it.Or are you inferring they're removing the root account itself? That being the case I wonder what will happen when something breaks or they change their mind about a certain configuration.
no basis - just 'my 2 cents' (or whatever international denomination).
