[solved] Where to finde information on Security Profiles?

Post by Tronde » 2016/01/16 13:02:48

Hello Community,

I am very new on CentOS and just finished my first CentOS 7 installation. In the Installation Wizard I saw the section "Security Profiles" (or was it Security Policies?). In the section I saw different profiles I could apply for my installation. By default no profile is selected.

I like to get some more information on this topic and searched the wiki and the forums but didn't find anything useful (I my used the wrong search phrases). Could you provide information on what these security profiles/policies are or where I could find more information on this topic?

Best regards,
Tronde

See the Installation Guide section on Security Policy: https://access.redhat.com/documentation ... y-x86.html
The most important part is this:
This screen should only be used when a specific policy is mandated by your organization rules or governemnt regulations.
