How to prevent remote access to the system ?
How to configure the system for NO REMOTE ACCESS ?

If you have "criminals" on your system now and they have root access then you need to back up your data and reinstall the system. Pull it off the net before you do anything else. If you need to track down how they got in then image the disk before you reinstall and examine it at leisure later.
