I use the minimal centos 8 dvd iso to install it on an new system but only receive the notorious dracut error.

Try to boot an centos 6 disk is no problem en it installs with no problems. There are 3 hardware raids available.

System is 64 bits amd also no upstream test error received, no floppy dev error. There was no linux file system when I started.

Start by checking that the sha256sum of your downloaded file matches the list published in the CentOS Release Notes.

Next check our wiki article on USB installs to make sure you do not use one of the many totally broken utilities.

The image is written on an cd and that boots perfect.

That does not tell me if you checked its integrity first. You must check the sha256sum to find out if your download is corrupt or you do not know what it is that you are booting.

So you're using the netinstall iso that requires to be pointed to a correct and valid mirror in order to operate.

I'd try the DVD.

I want that in the first place but my dvd -dl burner died. I only had an cd burner available, so the netinstall option was left.

I will receive a new one within a few days. Than I try it with the dvd version.

What springs out at me from that log is that there is no mention whatsoever of any sort of hard disk or CD/DVD drive being detected except for right at the end which I presume is you inserting a USB stick to copy the logs to...
