Since my 9-Stream update this morning Brave doesn't display any pages.
It gives following error: ERROR:zygote_communication_linux.cc(290)] Failed to send GetTerminationStatus message to zygote
I can use Brave when I start it with --no-zygote --no-sandbox
Not sure which packet was responsible; I tried to downgrade Brave (which didn't update this morning btw) to no avail.
I tried to downgrade xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.20.11-24 to 1.20.11.-22; xorg-x11-server-Xwayland-22.1.9-5 to 22.1.9-4 and xorg-x11-server-common-1.20.11-24 to 1.20.11-22 to no avail.
I can't rollback because of kernel-updates.
Anyone any idea what I can try. Besides asking the same question in the Brave community?
Thank,
Patrick

Re: 9-stream: Brave browser not displaying pages since update
Any help from https://bugs.launchpad.net/checkbox-ng/+bug/1991058 ?
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.

I don't think so.
It seems to be about 'Checkbox remote'. And a difference between running local or remote.
Since that bug about hardware acceleration I tried starting Brave with --no-gpu but that didn't help.

Code: Select all
echo $WAYLAND_DISPLAY

Today's OS updates solved the problem.
Not sure which update though.
