yum Curl error

[root@localhost yum.repos.d]# yum update

Why are you using a CentOS 6 yum repo on CentOS 8. Don't. They are not compatible. Disable it or remove it.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
Info for USB installs on http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/InstallFromUSBkey
CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
