Hello All
I would like to know if you can assist me with an issue I update my Centos9 stream via dnf update and it installed kernel 5.14-402 which killed the use of the KB and mouse. I then reverted back to kernel 5.14-391 and I was able to use my system to write this message. then waited and got a new Kernel update to 5.14-404 and that did not resolve this issue. I just got the latest update to 5.14-407 and that did not resolve this issue. I posted a bug report on redhat but it seem It has not been looked at or any comments.
I would like to know if you can assist with this issue . I looked at /var/log/messages file to see the boot up of 391 vs 402 and 404 and i see some modules are not loaded. Since I am not able to use a mouse or KB under the 402, 404 and 407 kernel I am not able to troubleshoot this issue further.
I also noted as I am typing this message the system locked the screen and I need to log back into the system. I do not want to rebuild this desktop if I can help it so I would like to get some Ideas or suggestions how I can resolve this issue.
thank you

No-one from RH reads this forum or takes any notice of anything reported here. You need to raise a report on issues.redhat.com where Stream is a "version" that you can select when you report a problem for RHEL.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

It may help if you say what hardware you have.
You should be able to ssh into your system from another device.
Also note that Stream is a rolling pre-release (aka. beta) of the
next RHEL point release. You may be better off using one of the
clones/rebuilds of RHEL like Rocky, Alma, OEL, etc.
