Still no news to pass on. What I heard yesterday was that there are just a few packages that need to be finished. Then the new trees will be installable (with Anaconda) and we will also have the ISOs to play with ...

The first set of isos (CDs and DVD) for i386 are on their way to the QA tree, I heard.

The QA team is busy. Updates and install tests with full i386 and x86_64 trees seem to be going well. Have not personally encountered any major problems yet.

LiveCDs are now available to the QA team for testing.

and we've recently had an updated set of ISO images that fixed a few minor issues. Looks like we're getting close now.

What [b]Ned[/b] was referring to was the i386 CD set.
We now have a revised set of [b]x86_64[/b] CDs and DVDs. Yes, the DVD had to be split in two because the whole thing was too big to be placed on one "standard" DVD (4.7GB). :-(

So the process now is to do test installs on the new media sets, and assuming that throws up no issues...

Yet another issue was identified with the x86_64 DVDs. A new set is now available.
