Hi
I'm very new to linux and recently installed centos. I'm trying to get the wireless internet to work, however, I'm not too sure how to.
I have intel pro/wireless lan 2100 3b mini pci adapter and a dell latitude d400 laptop
any help will be appreciated

it took over 3 days but i finally managed to complete this
I installed ipw2100 firmware from the website below
http://linux1.fnal.gov/linux/lts46/i386/SL/RPMS/repodata/repoview/ipw2100-firmware-0-1.3-5.html
installed it
typed in
modprobe -r ipw2100; modprobe ipw2100
then you need to enable network manager which can be found on this site

look for the heading Intel Pro Wireless 2100 (ipw2100)
it took over 3 days but i finally managed to complete this
