resolv.conf issue in 5.5

hi all,

i have configured lamp server and configured ip manually. after every reboot i need to reinsert the dns ip. every time i need to enter dns in resolv.conf.

some one please tell me how to make this permanent. :cry:

Please run `yum update` as soon as possible. CentOS 5.5 is 2.5 years out of date and has several known and exploitable security vulnerabilities.

More information about your system is needed to diagnose the problem you are experiencing. sorry buddy,

as its live server i cant update this, i need to resolve this issue in this version only can you tell me how?

If it's a live server then it's even more important that you update it. CentOS 5.5 is remotely exploitable so your live system is at risk right now.

No-one is going to be able to help without the information requested previously.
