RHEL 7.4 is Out; CentOS 7.4 Can't Be Too Far Behind
Re: RHEL 7.4 is Out; CentOS 7.4 Can't Be Too Far Behind
No but the content that will be 7.4 is already available in the CR repo. You can use it by adding --enablerepo=cr to any yum command.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

You could look at the release notes (of RHEL or CentOS) for list of updated packagesyzhao0227 wrote:Just curious if CentOS 7.4 comes with kde 5?
or browse the repositories to see what packages they do actually have.
tldr; No. Still 4.10.5-6.el7.
Woot, nearby mirror has updated its '7' symlink yesterday.
Re: RHEL 7.4 is Out; CentOS 7.4 Can't Be Too Far Behind
I've just run yum update in my C7 VM and its loading 757 packages. I'm guessing 7.4 is here!

Is it official? Are the ISO's available actual 1708, and do the base/updates/extras repos live? Have all of the packages been updated to their RHEL equivalent? Sorry for all the questions!

Re: RHEL 7.4 is Out; CentOS 7.4 Can't Be Too Far Behind
Today I upgraded to 7.4 by just using yum update which showed libgpod error message. This I overcome by downgrading libgpod. I appreciate the good work done by the CenOS team. As ever with CentOS.
