[RESOLVED] hardware requirements
i want to install centos 6.2 in 256MB computer i was download minimal.iso but a message appear to me tell me that my RAM is not enough i didn't want any desktop environment i just want the OS with CLI can any one tell me what version is perfect to me?

The installer needs at least 392MB of memory to work. Text mode will automatically be used if the system has less than 652MB of memory.
You should be able to install 5.8 but that is still a pretty minimal amount of RAM and is below the recommend minimum from [url=http://www.redhat.com/resourcelibrary/articles/articles-red-hat-enterprise-linux-6-technology-capabilities-and-limits]upstream[/url].
