:?:

Any idea why I would see the \S Kernel \r on an \m when trying to log on? Does it mean I just need to reboot?

What is the content of your ssh banner?

What do you mean by content banner?

Yesterday (Running KDE Desktop) I turned all the Energy Saving settings off, so far it has not froze up yet. However the only thing I have done was open up LibreOffice and drew a couple of boxes...I will need to make the computer work hard and see if I can get it to freeze.

Well my mouse started acting funny like it was hanging up trying to scroll up and down on a webpage, I closed the webpage and now have a solid black screen but I can still move the mouse...

On a Windows computer I would press ctlr+alt+delete, select task manager, start "explorer.exe" and not have to reboot the computer.

You may be able to restart X with crtl+alt+backspace by changing some settings:
