Hello
When I wanted to install linux with a pendrive displays an error.
"Unable to read package metadata. This may be due to a missing repodata directory. Please ensure that your install three has been correctly generated.
Failure:
repodata/73c548679e02ace4bb...-primary.squlite.bz2 from anaconda-Centos20170,281317.x86_64: [Errno 256] No more"
I choose to modify, when I type wrong it pops up error but when "well" it reads and displays another error.
error:
Error:
Unable to read group information from repositories.
This is a problem with the installation tree
I just do not have what I have to write, please help me
Best Regards

Re: Problem installing from repository Centos 6.9
Did you check the sha256sum of your downloaded iso file against the list published in the release notes to make sure it was not corrupt? https://wiki.centos.org/Manuals/ReleaseNotes/CentOS6.9
How did you copy the iso file to your USB stick - http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/InstallFromUSBkey has some hints.

The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

Re: Problem installing from repository Centos 6.9
Hi
The problem was bad image creation, I used Universal-USB-Installer then I did it in linux Centos 7 on another computer and got it all right.
dd if=CentOS-6.5-x86_64-bin-DVD1.iso of=/dev/sdb
Thank you very much for your help
Best regards
