Cisco VPN on CentOS
Cisco VPN on CentOS
How do I install cisco anyconnect secure mobility client? I would like to have that option in the list of the vpn connections.
Re: Cisco VPN on CentOS
You could try using the opensource 'vpnc' package from EPEL instead. There's also NetworkManager-vpnc.x86_64 and NetworkManager-vpnc-gnome.x86_64
Re: Cisco VPN on CentOS
Complete these steps in order to download the driver bundle:
- In a web browser, navigate to http://www.cisco.com.
Under Support, navigate to Downloads > All Downloads.
Click Servers - Unified Computing.
Choose UCS M-Series Modular Server Software
Click Unified Computing System (UCS) Drivers.
Select the bundle you want to download, and click Download Now.
Re: Cisco VPN on CentOS
I have read the CentOS is not officially suported, there are some requirements listed to check on Linux systems:
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/se ... _4.html#ID-1454-0000039b
Does the user in both cases have superuser privileges?
Do the respective installation directories have the same ownership, read, write and execute privileges?

Re: Cisco VPN on CentOS
Or, as said above, you can ignore the proprietary closed source cisco software and use vpnc which just works and can also be set up to be used by non-root users.
