Keyboard types control characters after using nano

Post by caffemocha » 2017/10/18 21:18:02

Hi,

I was editing a file in nano and after saving and exiting to the command line, any letter I type looks like this:

^S ^U ^D ^0

The only way to get my keyboard back is to restart the server.

Specs:
CentOS 7 minimal in a QEMU virtual machine

Your Ctrl and/or caps keys appear to be stuck on.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
Info for USB installs on http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/InstallFromUSBkey
CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
