New to CentOS

Post by lemurgeek » 2018/02/11 17:22:28

Dear all ,

I am new to CentOS , I have installed the CentOS to my Note book with Windows 7. It had 2 NTFS partitions One of windows OS and other for the Databack up . During the Cent OS installation i have selected reclaim space and went through with the installation, Now only CentOS core is installed and i can access my NTFS drives. Kindly help me to resolve this,

The bit about "reclaim space" worries me as I think that means delete everything and start over. Post the output from fdisk -lu /dev/sda run as root.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
