When will the Centos 7.5(1804) release?
I'm new to here, Which one could tell you some info about the 1804 release date?
Re: When will the Centos 7.5(1804) release?
When it's ready.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

I guess it will be released in next month, and 1804 becomes 1805.
Re: When will the Centos 7.5(1804) release?
I don't think so. It's name must be 1804, whatever it is released in 2018/04 or 2018/05.gzliudan wrote:I guess it will be released in next month, and 1804 becomes 1805.
Re: When will the Centos 7.5(1804) release?
Yes, it's 1804, because it's based on an upstream release that happened in April 2018. There are already precedents of that with prior CentOS releases.
You can now get the new packages using the Continuous Release (CR) Repository, even though the official .iso images aren't available yet.

Re: When will the Centos 7.5(1804) release?
Hi Avij, do you recommend getting the packages using the CR Repository or waiting for the official .iso images? I'm a beginner user so I'm thinking I should just wait, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

7.5 has been out for about a week and CR is now empty again.
