Hi People
Hope you are all well. Maybe someone can explain this to me. OS is Centos 7.6.1810
If I specifies lvmconf="no" in /etc/dracut.conf and rebuild using dracut -f, I should not see /etc/lvm/lvm.conf when I do lsinitrd on the new generated initramfs?
At the moment it is as if lvmconf="no" is being ignored ?
Regards

Re: dracut and lvmconf="no"
Does your running system have LVM managed devices?
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

Then I suspect that overrides your attempt to exclude the lvm.conf file. The only way to test that theory is by running it on a machine without LVM devices and I don't have any of those.

Re: dracut and lvmconf="no"
A VM with no LVM volumes does not have anything "lvm" in the image and I have never touched dracut.conf.
Should add PV/VG/LV and rerun dracut as test. Can't.
