593 software updates available!

Post by kt53 » 2019/09/18 03:51:13

Greetings:

The software update tool tells me that there are 593 updates available (about 1.1 GB).

Is this pre-7.7 preparation or is this actually 7.7?

Thanks,
KT.

593?!? Is that ALL?!?   Piker!!! Mine had over 800+!!! To answer your question that is the full 7.7 roll over. In the next week or two expect to see a vast number of updates that usually follows closely on the heels of a new point release.

The 'updates' repo has already 310 packages. Your update did use them.

Apparently so. I was thinking "What?!? ANOTHER 310 packages just since last night?!?" I just ran yum update to check and it came back with, "No packages marked for update". Whew!!!!
